Are there any weddings receptions in the borgo?
Behind the borgo, at a considerable distance from the apartments (100 metres), a new location has been created where weddings are frequently held, especially in the summer period. Weddings are also celebrated at the borgo’s swimming pool (see “On what dates are weddings held by the pool?”). On those days, the swimming pool will be closed at 6:00 p.m.

On what dates are weddings held by the pool?

April:

Do the weddings cause a noise nuisance?
When a wedding is being celebrated by the pool, you can hear the music in the courtyard. Much less is audible of the weddings in the new zone. Whether there will always be nuisance is difficult to say: some guests find the weddings enjoyable, while others might be bothered by the noise/music. If you are looking for absolute silence, then the Borgo delle Olive is not the right location for you.
Keep in mind that weddings are celebrated at almost every comparable location in Sicily, but this is often not indicated on their website. Therefore, if you are looking for an alternative to the borgo, always ask if, and if so, when, weddings take place.
